With the ZEV mandate kicking in for cars and vans, and phase-out dates for HGVs on the horizon, it’s no longer optional to be considering decarbonisation.

Stuart Murphy
With more than 20 years of experience, Stuart Murphy is the Head of Fleet Transformation for Royal Mail. He most recently led the team that oversaw the introduction of over 4,000 electric vehicles, 80 Bio-CNG fuelled trucks and the supporting infrastructure to Royal Mail’s fleet. His successes in reducing emissions of the UK’s largest distribution fleet means that Stuart’s knowledge is sought after by fleets and industry professionals alike.
Ian Dennis
With more than 10 years’ experience in the commercial vehicle industry, Ian Dennis has built a strong reputation for his work supporting the sector’s transition to lower-carbon transport. He has been recognised as one of Motor Transport’s Decarbonisation Power Players in 2023, 2024 and 2025, reflecting his contribution to the industry’s decarbonisation journey. Passionate about finding creative and innovative solutions to the challenges facing fleet operators, Ian is committed to working with industry partners to accelerate progress towards a more sustainable commercial vehicle sector.
Lamech Solomon
Lamech Solomon is Head of Decarbonisation Policy at Logistics UK, which represents members moving goods by road, rail, water and air, as well as the buyers of logistics services. He joined the organisation in 2025 after gaining extensive knowledge of EV charging working with Virgin Media O2 and Believ, helping to accelerate the switch to electric transport infrastructure. Prior to that, he spent more than five years working in the Civil Service in a range of roles, most recently as industry sector lead for the Net Zero Strategy and Head of Delivery for Energy and Security.
Andrew Scott
Andrew Scott is an experienced asset finance professional with more than 25 years’ experience providing innovative funding solutions for commercial vehicles, buses, coaches and other assets across the UK. He has worked with a diverse range of customers, from SMEs to Central Government, specialising in leasing and contract hire solutions and building trusted relationships with customers and stakeholders. A member of the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport, Andrew is passionate about supporting the transport sector’s transition to Net Zero. Outside of work, he is a keen cyclist and has twice completed Ride Across Britain, cycling more than 950 miles from Lands’ End to John O’Groats in just nine days.
