Mr. Zubair Alam is part of senior management in Pakistan Post. His current position is Dy. Director General Administration since February, 2017. He primarily deals with Personal Administration, Public Relations and Customer Care and is also part of team to represent post at ministerial forums and parliamentary committees. Since joining Pakistan Post in 1990, he served in various capacities as head of Postal Divisions, General Post Offices and Postal Region directly dealing with front desk and bulk customers like Federal/Provincial Government Ministries, Public and Private Departments, Universities and public utility service departments.
He did his Masters in Public Administration with major in Marketing from University of the Punjab, Lahore Pakistan. During service besides training courses on Management, Customer Care and Marketing, he has undergone Mid-Career Management Course and Senior Management Course from National Institute of Management Peshawar and Lahore, Pakistan and participated in International workshop on Management Information Systems for Agricultural Research at Hyderabad, India and Advanced Business Management Course at APPU, Bangkok, Thailand. He has also been delivering lectures in Postal Staff College Islamabad on different topics relating Customer Care, Marketing and Postal Operations.
He is also part of team working on reform agenda of Pakistan Post which includes two major initiatives of establishing a Pakistan Post Logistics Company and Digital Mobile Money Solutions platform through public private partnership.
