Zhern Yung is the Head of Cross Border for Ninja Van, leading the department’s product development and operations to satiate the ever-rising demand by ASEAN consumers for overseas merchandise while navigating the fragmented and complex customs regimes across the region.

Through leveraging Ninja Van’s unparalled last mile network across ASEAN in combination with regional and global strategic partnerships, Zhern Yung aims to break down barriers to bring the world’s assortment of consumer goods straight to ASEAN doorsteps.

Prior to his current role, Zhern Yung was in the CEO’s office involved in program management and special projects including serving an instrumental role in Ninja Van’s Series C fundraising led by DPD Group.

Before joining Ninja Van, Zhern Yung spent 4 years at Citigroup in Kuala Lumpur serving positions across Corporate and Investment Banking, Retail Banking, and Human Resources. Zhern Yung has a MEng. in Electronic Engineering with Nanotechnology from University College London.
