Valaxay DALALOY is acting director general of Postal Department, Ministry of Post and Telecommunications. He had obtained the position as acting director general on 01st January 2018. In previous, he had worked in Research and Development Department at Ministry of Science and Technology from 1991 to 2010, and he had started to work in Department of Information and Technology, Ministry of Post and Telecommunications as deputy director general in 2011 that he was responsible for strategies, plans and projects to develop ICT in Laos.

Valaxay had obtained master degree from Moscow, Russia in 1989.
