Like father, like son. The love for logistics sprouted from childhood when he was brought along to various warehouses in Singapore Airlines where his father started off as a storekeeper from the days of Kallang Airport.

After 10 over years of operations, logistics and supply chain experience working with industry giants as Fujitsu PC Asia, YCH, Expeditors and SATS Cargo in various management roles and regions, Madihid started his forray in eCommerce by joining Reebonz. He was subsequently approached by Zalora SEA to become its Regional Director of Operations and Supply Chain. In addition to his regional role, he also covered the Operations Director role in Indonesia and Singapore.

Being in Zalora SEA which was part of Rocket Internet, Madihid caught the entrepreneurial bug and cofounded iCommerce Asia – an end-to-end eCommerce supply chain provider / enabler in 2016. Its operations were taken over by UrbanFox in March 2018. Using his experience from iCommerce Asia, he subsequently co-founded JANIO Asia, a cross-border eCommerce platform aiming to simplify Asia’s logistics through integrating the logistics chain by establishing strategic partnerships with a wide network of quality service providers, connecting its clients with its logistics partners through its proprietary data-driven platform. Madihid heads the operations and commercial departments in JANIO Asia which operates a network of up to 30 key origins and destinations globally.

With his vast experience, he now also supports other ventures with regards to building up the supply chain operations process, especially in cross-border solutions and eCommerce in Asia.
