Sam is a life-long entrepreneur co-founding and running start-ups. His current business Gnewt began as an Angel-invested company in 2009, and narrowly missed out on a place in the Sunday Times Rich List 2015 as one of the UK’s fastest growing companies.

His experience with electric vehicle development and utilisation has helped build quality relationships with clients, the wider industry and Governmental bodies, most notably the London Mayor’s Office.

He is a previous Merit winner at the Great British Entrepreneurs Awards, a Fellow to the National Institute of Couriers and a sector chair for the same institution on the area of Electric Vehicles. In 2017, he was voted #21 in the greenfleet.net top 100 most influential people in Low Carbon Fleets.
