Penny has been in the transportation and logistics industry for nearly 30 years. During her two decades with FedEx, she co-led a 10-year global expansion in deferred cargo shipping involving air, ocean freight forwarding, customs brokerage and cross-border movements. At Amazon Logistics, Penny transformed a loose confederation of vendors in the last mile to a stable network in the US, Canada, and the EU. She also served briefly as Product Manager for Prime Free Same Day, led the Capacity Planning team, and provided expertise on vehicles and fleet management, fuel, invoice and payment, on road safety training, and other value-added services to internal teams. In her first year, over one billion eCommerce packages were delivered. Penny was also an officer on a team building the next generation of last mile delivery capabilities at Jet.com and Walmart eCommerce. Penny is currently serving as Chief Strategy Officer at The FRONTdoor Collective (FDC), a franchise devoted to excellence in first mile, last mile and reverse logistics which came out of stealth this summer.
