Marek is a seasoned consultant and entrepreneurial ex-regional CEO with multicultural experience, a courier express parcel, FMCG and last mile e-commerce background. His core competence is in the areas of M&A, strategy, out of home delivery and e-commerce last mile

Marek has operated in various industries and geographic markets with a proven track record of success. Key focus over the last 20 years has been with courier/logistics start-ups, acquisitions and corporate turnarounds while managing a region of 14 business units spreading from the Baltic States to the Balkans. Up until April 2015, Marek has been Vice-President, Amazon Logistics EU reporting to the Worldwide Vice-President.

He is now Managing Partner at Last Mile Experts Ltd., a specialist courier express & parcel and e-commerce last mile consultancy. Marek has been industry advisor for several Private Equity Firms and advised a number of Postal operators on strategic projects.

A major entrepreneurial achievement was the creation of Poland’s first domestic express courier company, Masterlink Express. Masterlink developed from a small business employing 5 people in 1990 to a profitable market leader in 1996. Masterlink, now known as DPD Polska, is Poland’s leading domestic courier operator with a turnover of some €300 million.
