Mandy Deakin-Snell is Director of International Operations at DPD, the UK’s largest and most dynamic express parcel delivery company. DPD is widely recognised as the leader in its field having introduced numerous innovations including Predict, Precise and the YourDPD App. In 2015 DPD won the Queen’s Award for Enterprise, in the Innovation category, the only UK carrier to achieve this prestigious award.

Mandy has been with DPD for over 16 years, having previously worked for other major industry players such as TNT. Mandy currently leads a team of 47 international experts and is responsible for over 24 million shipments per year to over 200 countries worldwide via a range of air and road services.

Mandy and her team have continually been able to enhance the international service offering through building a detailed understanding of customers’ needs, developing and deploying the very latest technologies and collaborating with suppliers, networks and other partners to find truly innovative solutions.

With 30 years of industry experience, Mandy is very well qualified to speak on the topic of “implications of Brexit”, having helped drive DPD’s international export business revenue from £14m to over £220m during her time with DPD.
