Mr. Kenan Bozgeyik has been the Chairman of the Council of Administration of the Universal Postal Union, the second oldest international organization worldwide and a specialized agency of the United Nations, since September 2016. He has also been the Chief Executive Officer and Director General of Turkish Post Corporation, Turkey’s leading postal company and designated Postal Operator, since March 2016.
Throughout his career, Mr. Bozgeyik has carried out various significant duties at the governmental level. Prior to joining the Turkish Post Corporation, Mr. Bozgeyik served as an Advisor to the Prime Ministry from 2012 to 2015. He also served as Undersecretary of the Ministry of Family and Social Policies in 2012. In addition, Mr. Bozgeyik held critical positions at the Ministry of Transport, Maritime Affairs and Communications (2008-2011) and at the Ministry of Health (2003-2008) where he was mainly in charge of strategic development and planning. Besides, Mr. Bozgeyik served as Superintendent and Advisor to the Ministry of Environment from 1994 to 2008. In addition to his multifaceted professional experience, Mr. Bozgeyik’s technical background and finance education granted him an enriched perspective and innovative approach to his role in the international postal sector.
