Ian is a senior leader on the Canada Post Operations team providing strategic direction, to support and improve, the safety, innovation and efficiency of Canada Post’s mail processing network and fleet operations.  Ian joined Canada Post in 2008 as a Senior Lead on the company’s $2-billion Postal Transformation and helped Canada Post introduce new sortation processing strategies, including machine sequencing.

Ian began his career as a Systems Engineer with Bombardier Inc. in 1985, in Belfast, Northern Ireland, where he supported the development of civil and military aircraft.  Before moving to Canada Post, he became Group Vice-President, Continuous Improvement, for Bombardier Transportation, based at its head office in Berlin, Germany.
