Ian is currently Head of e-commerce at AEB, the leading software provider for customs clearance solutions in Europe and beyond. He oversees the development of innovative solutions benefiting the market of cross-border e-commerce and promotes growths of the relevant business within AEB.  

He walks the line between e-commerce’s need for speed (with a backdrop of ever-growing volumes) and customs’ demand for compliance. Marrying both up is a though but exciting challenge.

Ian jumped in at the deep end when he took on critical changes in the customs market, like Brexit and the introduction of IOSS, learning the ropes quickly by trouble-shooting customs challenges as they arose. It is his ambition to find an ideal balance between the worlds of e-commerce and customs.
