Solution design to support world-class international e-commerce has long been Helen’s passion. At Asendia UK, her role as Innovation and Development Director ranges from managing new strategic customer solution development and onboarding and new product and service development, to overseeing data quality improvements and warehouse automation programmes. She also project manages the integration of new carriers and brokers into the Asendia network, and seeks out solutions that will improve the existing product and service portfolio.
Leading retail clients including Urban Outfitters and Boohoo.com benefit from Asendia’s cutting edge international parcel shipping and ecommerce fulfilment solutions. To support brands with their overseas aspirations, Helen’s team, working alongside the Asendia IT team, has put in place solutions to overcome the operational and admin challenges of Brexit, Covid-19, and now the new EU VAT rules and IOSS.
Helen has a BA in English Literature, is a Chartered Management Accountant (CIMA) and PRINCE2 practitioner, with over 20 years’ experience of international logistics, including senior strategic roles at wnDirect, DPDgroup, GeoPost Intercontinental, Kahala Posts Group and Royal Mail.
