Clemens Beckmann, currently Head of Smart Cities and Last Mile Solutions at DHL Customer Solutions and Innovations, joined Deutsche Post DHL Group in 1999.

From 2010 – 2019 in his position as Executive Vice President he was responsible for Innovations in the Post, eCommerce and Parcel Division. Before that he had served in several management positions within the Group that were closely linked to the topic of innovation and strategy, such as Head of Corporate Development.

Prior to his start at DHL he served as a Management Consultant at McKinsey & Company, after finishing his doctorate in mathematics. Clemens Beckmann was born 1960 in Beckum, Westphalia, Germany.
