As Purolator’s Senior Vice President and Chief Operations Officer, Chris Spanjaard spearheads all aspects of the company’s operations, serving the Canadian domestic and international courier, freight and logistics market.

Chris is a leader focused on driving innovation and service excellence to deliver industry-specific solutions within an integrated B2B and B2C network. He oversees Purolator’s modernization strategy, which is based on world-class automation, end-to-end process digitization and middle-mile transportation capabilities. Chris also champions the safety, security and sustainable development of Purolator’s extensive operations infrastructure and retail access points across Canada.

Having spent the past 20 years working as an international senior executive in the global express and logistics industry, Chris has extensive experience in building and transforming operations across Asia and Europe. He holds an MSc in Business Administration from the National University of Groningen (RuG), Netherlands.
