Since March 2014 Boris Winkelmann has been Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of DPD in Germany. As Chief Operating Officer (COO) he had previously been responsible since March 2013 for the operational management of DPD in Germany.

Boris Winkelmann has almost 20 years’ experience in the parcel and express industry. From 1994 onwards he first occupied a number of management positions at TNT Express before switching to GeoPost in the year 1999 to 2001.

Together with his brother he founded and managed the online shipping service LetMeShip in 2001, as well as the information an market research service CEP-Research and ITA Consulting, an M&A consultancy service.

Boris Winkelmann was born in Hamburg in 1970. He is married and has two children.
