After gaining experience in Asian markets such as Hong Kong and China with Italian multinational firms, Alessandro Duri joined Rocket Internet and ZALORA in the early days of 2012, helping shape the operations of one of the first Southeast Asian fashion e-tailers.

Today, as ZALORA Regional Director of Operations, he is responsible for the overall operations of ZALORA including the coordination and planning of warehouse, logistic, supply chain, returns, customer service and production. He focuses on the daily coordination of seven distribution centres, customer service and photo shoot production hubs throughout six countries in Southeast Asia.Alessandro also manages the upstream section of the supply chain, liaising with suppliers worldwide as well as spearhead business development projects to ease operational integration with internal and external parties with a goal to bring an unprecedented product offering and customer experience to all of Southeast Asia’s online fashion shoppers.

Prior to ZALORA, he worked with two big Italian multinationals in China and joined early stage developments of Rocket Internet ventures in Italy and Pakistan, Payleven Italy (mobile payments), and Kaymu.pk (marketplace).

Alessandro graduated with Honors from Università Commerciale Luigi Bocconi and Fudan University, Shanghai. He holds a Bachelor in International Economics and Management and a Master of Science in International Management from the respective universities.
