Kris Kosmala is General Manager of APAC. He was appointed to the Quintiq Board in January 2016.
A recognized expert in the field of transportation and logistics, Kris has been spearheading modernization and advancement of supply chain optimization concepts throughout Asia and Australia. As GM APAC, Kris focuses on industries enabling and servicing supply chains that span the global manufacturing powerhouses of Asia and the importing economies of Europe and North America, a role that leverages his extensive industry expertise and experience with business innovation.
Since joining Quintiq in 2012, Kris has led Quintiq APAC to become the supply chain planning and optimization solution of choice for customers such as Darlymple Bay Coal Terminal, Woodside, NatSteel. He was instrumental in turning China ― then a very new market for Quintiq ― into a highly profitable business unit. Under his management, Northeast Asia and Australia New Zealand business units ― already highly profitable ones, keep exceeding their growth targets year after year.
Kris established Quintiq as a major force in maritime logistics industries focused on shipping lines, ports, and related intermodal industries. His work with companies exploiting opportunities brought by the One Belt One Road initiative led to rethinking freight supply chains operations crossing the Asia Pacific region.
Kris holds an MBA from the Australian Graduate School of Management at the University of New South Wales. He is based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
